ELECULAR TECHNOLOGY
Innovation in biosensing and sequencing
We focus on high throughput microchip-based portable platforms for single-molecule detection, characterization and sequencing.
OUR TECHNOLOGY
We have developed Quantum-NanoElectroPore (Q-NEP), an optoelectrical platform for single-molecule sensing and sequencing. Q-NEP is based on a multiplexed microchip of solid-state nanopore devices with tunable self-aligned tunneling nanogaps, all embedded in nanofluidic channels. Such a versatile system enables single-molecule delivery, detection, and analysis, using coincidental and co-localized ionic and tunneling current signals and nanogap-enhanced optical spectrum.
OUR BUSINESS
We strive to make the Q-NEP platform broadly available to medical institutes and research labs for general single-molecule diagnostics and biomolecular sequencing. In addition, proprietary chip designs, protocols, and bioassays are being developed for selected biosensing and sequencing applications, where single-molecule delivery, higher resolution, and chemical specificity, all uniquely enabled by the Q-NEP platform, are critical but not possible with existing technologies.
